FixCraft & Geek’s Corner Halloween Fancy Dress Trick-or-Treat Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter:
   The promoter of this competition is FixCraft, located at 17 St. Michael’s Road, Gorey, Co. Wexford, Ireland.

2. Eligibility:

   • This competition is open to children under the age of 16 who visit the FixCraft & Geek’s Corner store in fancy dress on the last day of school before Halloween (Friday, October 25, 2024) and right up until close of business on 31st October 2024 
   • Entrants must have parental or guardian consent to enter the competition and have their photo posted on Facebook.
   • Employees of FixCraft & Geek’s Corner, their family members, or anyone else connected in any way to the competition are not eligible to enter.

3. Entry Method:

   • Participants must visit the FixCraft & Geek’s Corner store in fancy dress on the specified timeframe.
   • A photo of the participant in their costume will be taken in-store, and the parent or guardian must provide consent for the photo to be uploaded to the FixCraft Facebook page.
   • Only participants whose photos are posted on the FixCraft Facebook page are eligible to enter.

4. Competition Period:

   • The competition will begin once the participant’s photo is uploaded to Facebook and will end at 11:59 PM on Halloween night (Thursday, October 31, 2024).
   • The winner will be determined based on the number of likes their photo receives by the deadline.
   • The number of likes on a particular photo at the aforementioned date will be decided by the promoter. In the unlikely event of a draw, the promoter reserves the right to split the prize value in half and give to each drawing contestant 

5. Prize:

   • The prize is a €100 voucher for the FixCraft & Geek’s Corner store.
   • The prize is non-transferable, and no cash or alternative prizes will be offered.
   • The winner will be announced on Facebook after the competition ends. They will be contacted via Facebook to arrange collection of the prize.

6. Winner Selection:

   • The winner will be the participant whose photo receives the most likes on the FixCraft Facebook page by the competition deadline.
   • In the event of a tie, the promoter reserves the right to choose the winner based on additional criteria such as creativity or originality of the costume.

7. Photo Consent:

   • By entering the competition, participants (with parental or guardian consent) agree to have their photo publicly posted on FixCraft’s Facebook page.
   • Photos will be used for the purposes of this competition.
   • Photos may be used next year or at other times to promote other competitions led by the promoter 

8. Data Protection:

   • FixCraft will collect and process participants’ personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will only use it for the purposes of running the competition and / or future competitions.

9. Disqualification:

   • Any attempt to manipulate the number of likes through fraudulent means will result in disqualification.
   • The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these terms and conditions.

10. Changes to Terms:

    • FixCraft reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
